CYCLING
For those of you who are interested, there are regular cycling groups who meet at cyclogical every Wednesday and go out for a couple of hours to explore different routes in the area, always stopping for refreshments and a chat!! The Gents leave at 10am and are led by Robb and the Ladies leave at 2pm and are led by Lynn - please feel free to come and join us - meet new people and see the area.
New Council
I have just heard that the Animal ambulance of La Marina,has been stopped,the keys were taken off the driver,presumably by our local police.Obviously a new start of the new council.This incident seems to be some sort of retaliation,by the new council members on the old council members or vice versa.I gather this after reading a short posting on this website,regarding,the old and new council members, whose position put them in charge of the care for animals in La Marina.This new council is less than a week old and already I am fearing the worst for the ordinary people of La Marina

WIMBLEDON KICKS OFF TOMORROW
With the weather not at its best in England and there being long spells of rain during the last week it threatens to seriously affect play at Wimbledon.
I hope they do get the chance to have some play as I think this year is going to be great.
I love tennis myself and I actually had a few games the other day in the searing heat, really enjoyed it but it was too hot.
It would be nice to hear from any other forum members who enjoy tennis and add their views and experiences of playing tennis here in Spain.
I understand Nadal will be playing on centre court at 2.00pm Spanish time and even if it rains they will operate the electronic roof 45 minutes before to ensure play takes place. So no matter what we will see some tennis tomorrow regardless.
I am also looking forward to this years championship and I cannot see past Nadal, with Murray and Federar pushing him all the way.

Please read my latest post re the Animal Ambulance. The vehicle's ITV had expired and could not be used legally on the road. Hopefully it will be back doing its job in the very near future.
